We respect the privacy of the site’s users and act in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741–1981, and Amendment No. 13 to the Law.

A. Introduction

Our users’ privacy is very important to us. This document explains what personal details are collected, how we use them, and for what purposes.
Your entry to the site constitutes consent to this policy.

B. Types of information collected

When you use the site, we may collect the following information:

  • Personal details you provided (name, email address, phone).
  • Technical information (IP address, browser type, operating system).
  • Information about your use of the site (views, navigation between pages, visit duration).
  • Purchase and payment data (through Stripe and PayPal only).
  • Information provided when signing up for newsletters or to receive updates.
  • Information collected through Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel for analysis and marketing purposes.
  • Information collected through Microsoft Clarity (heat maps and recordings of browsing behavior, with personal information fields masked), only after consent.
  • When you book a One-on-One Session: the phone number you entered, the session time and the Zoom link, in order to send you text messages (SMS) about the session.

C. Purposes of using the information

We use the information for:

  • Managing and operating the site.
  • Providing products and services that were purchased.
  • Sending updates, newsletters and marketing content related to Rankalif.life (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • Handling inquiries and service requests.
  • Improving the user experience and the site.
  • Maintaining the site’s security and preventing fraud.
  • Sending text messages (SMS) about a One-on-One Session you booked: a confirmation at the time of booking and a reminder before the session, including the Zoom link. These are service messages, not marketing messages.

D. Disclosure of information to third parties

Personal information is kept for internal use only. We do not transfer information to any third party for marketing purposes.
The information is accessible only to the following parties:

  • Wix – the website platform, which manages the backend, including email delivery.
  • Stripe and PayPal – the payment processing providers.
  • Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel – for measurement and advertising purposes.
  • Microsoft Clarity – for statistics and site improvement purposes, only after consent.
  • Cloudflare – hosting and serving the site (content delivery network).
  • Cloudflare Turnstile – protection of the site’s forms against automated submission (security).
  • LearnWorlds – the online course platform: purchasers’ details (name and email address) are used for course enrollment and access.
  • Zapier – an automation service that transfers purchasers’ details (name and email address) between the site’s systems for course enrollment.
  • Inforu – SMS delivery provider: receives your phone number, your first name and the content of the message (session time and Zoom link) solely in order to send the message to you.

The messages about a One-on-One Session are sent by a function on the site that does not store the phone number, name or Zoom link. To prevent duplicate sends, only the booking ID and the message type are kept temporarily (up to 30 days).

E. Information retention period

  • Information for marketing purposes will be retained as long as the user has not requested its deletion.
  • Credit card data is stored and managed solely by Stripe and PayPal in accordance with international standards.
  • Financial information related to payments is retained as required by law (for example, 7 years for tax purposes).

F. Users’ rights

In accordance with the law, you have the following rights:

  • Accessing the information stored about you.
  • Requesting correction of inaccurate information or an update of details.
  • Requesting deletion of personal information – except for information we are required to retain by law (such as tax data).
  • Objecting to use for marketing – you can unsubscribe at any stage through a dedicated link in the email or by contacting us.

How to exercise your rights

  • Access and correction: By email to [email protected]. Your order details are also shown on the My Account page.
  • Deletion: Using the “Request to delete my account and data” button on the My Account page (after signing in to your account), or by email to [email protected].
  • Unsubscribing from mailings: Through the unsubscribe link in every email, or by contacting us.

Deletion includes your site member account, your contact details and your newsletter subscription. Orders, invoices and receipts are retained for the period required by law. To protect the information, we will handle the request only after verifying that it was sent by the account holder (for example, from the account’s email address), and we will let you know by email once it has been handled.

G. Information security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information, including:

  • Secure servers at Wix.
  • Encryption when transmitting payment data.
  • Access control restricted to authorized employees and providers only.
  • Encryption (HTTPS) throughout browsing on the site, and a browser security policy that restricts the sources from which the site loads content.
  • Protection of forms against automated submission (bots), and limiting the number of requests to sensitive services.
  • Automatic sign-out from your personal account after a period of inactivity.

However, transmitting information over the internet involves risks, and we cannot guarantee complete security.

H. Transfer of information abroad

The information may be stored on Wix, Stripe and PayPal servers located outside Israel.
These transfers are made to providers that are committed to providing an adequate level of protection, in accordance with the requirements of the law.

The site is served through Cloudflare, and technical information and information about the use of the site collected by the measurement tools (Google, Meta and Microsoft) may also be stored on these providers’ servers outside Israel.

Purchasers’ details (name and email address) transferred to LearnWorlds and Zapier for course enrollment and enrollment automations may be stored on these providers’ servers outside Israel.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Any material change will be published on this page.

J. Site hosting, browser storage, cookies and measurement tools

The site is served through Cloudflare (a hosting service and content delivery network). Site members’ personal data, orders, purchases and forms are managed in Wix.

The site stores in your browser (localStorage and sessionStorage) information required for it to function: the shopping cart, your account sign-in, accessibility preferences, your cookie choice and a cache of the site’s content. This information does not include marketing information. For purchase measurement, a summary of the most recent cart (products and amount, without personal details) is also stored in the browser.

The site uses Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel (Meta) for measurement and advertising. Information about the use of the site is passed to them: pages viewed, products viewed or added to the cart, proceeding to payment and purchase (the products, the amount and the order number), newsletter or event registration and site searches, as well as technical information the tools collect themselves (such as IP address, browser type and cookies). Name, email address and phone number are not passed to these tools.

The site also uses Microsoft Clarity for statistics and site improvement: heat maps (where people click and scroll on a page) and recordings of how pages are browsed. Form fields and areas that display personal details (such as name, email address, phone and order details) are masked in the recordings and are not captured, and no name, email address or user ID is passed to Microsoft Clarity. The personal account pages and the return-from-payment pages are not measured at all.

Cookies and consent

The measurement and marketing tools operate only after your consent, by category: “Statistics and site improvement” (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) and “Marketing and advertising” (Facebook Pixel). Storage that is strictly necessary for the site to function (the shopping cart, your account sign-in, accessibility preferences and saving your choice) is always active.

The site’s forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile, a strictly necessary security component that protects against automated submission (bots). It checks technical characteristics of the browser and the connection, is not used for advertising, and operates regardless of your cookie choice.

Until you make a choice, and if you have declined, Microsoft Clarity and Facebook Pixel are not loaded at all, and Google Analytics runs in a limited mode without cookies: basic signals are sent to it without storing an identifier in the browser, for statistical estimation only.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the “Cookie Settings” link at the bottom of every page. Your choice is saved in the browser for 12 months, after which we will ask for it again.

The website Rankalif.life is operated and managed by Ran Kalif.
The site provides content in the fields of consciousness, health and personal development. The information on the site does not constitute medical advice or a binding professional opinion, and its use is at the user’s sole responsibility.

Use of the site

  • The site may be used for personal and private purposes only.
  • Content may not be copied, reproduced, published or distributed without prior written permission.
  • Automated scanning mechanisms (crawlers, robots) may not be operated.
  • The site’s content may not be published or used in violation of the law (defamation, invasion of privacy, copyright infringement, and the like).
  • Purchasing on the site, opening an account and signing up for the newsletter are intended for people aged 18 and over. Registration of minors for activities (for example, evenings for children and teens) is done by a parent or guardian.

Registration and receiving updates

When registering, you may be required to provide your name, email address and additional details.
The details will be stored in Ran Kalif’s database.
Registration constitutes consent to receive newsletters and updates. You can cancel at any time.

To sign up for the newsletter on the site, you must explicitly agree to receive content and updates by email by checking a box (which is not pre-checked). Your email address and consent are stored in Wix, where the mailing list is managed. Every mailing includes an unsubscribe link.

Intellectual property

All copyright and intellectual property rights in the “Ran Kalif” brand and in the site’s content, including texts, images, videos and recordings – belong to Ran Kalif or to third parties that have permitted their use.
The rights in the site’s design and code belong to Asaf Harel, and they are used on the site with his permission.
They may not be used without explicit prior written permission.

Liability

The content on the site is provided as is (AS IS).
Ran Kalif shall not be liable for any damage caused as a result of reliance on the site’s content or of technical malfunctions in its use.

Affiliate links

Some of the links on the site to external stores (for example, on the recommendation pages and in some articles) are affiliate links. A purchase through them may earn us a commission, at no additional cost to you. Pages that contain such links display a notice about it.

Changes to the site

Ran Kalif may change the site’s structure, content or services at any time, without the need for prior notice.
