Antidepressants or Your Brain?

My dear ones,
My dear ones,

If you are taking psychiatric medications, you should read this.

A new, comprehensive national study from Sweden, one of the largest and most rigorous of its kind, found that the use of antidepressants, especially SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors), in patients with dementia is linked to significantly faster cognitive decline, as well as an increased risk of severe dementia, bone fractures and death.

Here is a link to the study:

The study was published in BMC in early 2025. Yet its findings don't seem to be prompting any reform, because our current psychiatric system is financially and commercially tied to a chemically bankrupt hypothesis: the monoamine/serotonin theory of depression.

Psychiatry departments are quietly starting to disown it. Very quietly...

And so, for decades, depression has been falsely marketed as a condition caused by a “chemical imbalance,” especially low serotonin. This unfounded theory underpinned the meteoric rise in the use of SSRIs and other antidepressants, even though it is based on “science” with no proof whatsoever.

More than half a century has passed, and there is no convincing evidence that a serotonin deficiency causes depression. The serotonin theory isn't just flawed; it is intellectually bankrupt. Yet it continues to serve as the pillar of billions of dollars in drug revenue and countless prescriptions written on false pretenses.

In other words, science lost its way long ago, abandoning progress to become a funded business model that is now collapsing in on itself. A commercial model of science that causes enormous harm under the guise of treatment fails to raise a single eyebrow among medical bureaucrats: they fear losing their bonuses.

According to the Swedish study from the year, SSRI drugs such as escitalopram (Cipralex, Esto, Lexapro), sertraline (Lustral, Serenada) and citalopram (Recital, Cipramil) are closely linked to accelerated cognitive decline in patients already diagnosed with dementia.

You can read a comprehensive article on the brain damage caused by SSRIs here

https://hormonesmatter.com/brain-long-term-lexapro.../

Higher doses of SSRIs were linked to a 35% increase in the risk of severe dementia, a 25% increase in the risk of fractures and an 18% increase in mortality.

And beyond dementia, SSRI drugs were found to show neurotoxic effects (nerve poisoning):

Disruption of neurogenesis (nerve regeneration) and of the brain's neuroplasticity.

Damage to the function of the mitochondria, the power generators of our cells.

Suppression of melatonin production and calcification of the pineal gland, especially with fluoride compounds such as fluoxetine (Prozac).

Think about it: how can a substance that harms the pineal gland, the endocrine seat of daily, hormonal and, one could argue, spiritual coherence, be seen as something therapeutic?

Suppression of the pineal gland is directly linked to depression, psychosis, anxiety, suicidality, dementia, cognitive decline and compulsiveness. And that's just the beginning.

And by the way, this isn't just about harmful side effects; it's a diagnostic crisis. Nearly 40% of dementia diagnoses are wrong. Many of these misdiagnoses stem from drug-induced cognitive decline, particularly from SSRIs, other psychiatric drugs and drug cocktails, all prescribed by a doctor, of course...

The most absurd part of this whole tragedy is that there are natural, nontoxic, clinically validated alternatives that match or outperform SSRIs for depression, without the devastating side effects.

Take saffron, for example, which I talked about along with several other plants and natural substances in a course I gave, “The Bridge to Joy.” In a comparative review of six clinical studies, saffron extract was shown to be as effective as, or more effective than, fluoxetine (Prozac) in treating depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder, with dramatically better safety profiles.

And this is just one example of the many I discussed in that course, in the open evening on the pineal gland, in the course “Reborn,” at “The Power of Change” retreats, in The Complete Course on knowing consciousness, and more.

There are more than 130 evidence-based natural approaches to help with depression, including:

Curcumin (turmeric)

Natural-spectrum light therapy

Rhodiola

Mercury-free omega-3 fatty acids

Forms of magnesium

Hypericum (St. John's wort)

B vitamins

Alpha and theta trance states

TFT technique

Cleansing and activating the pineal gland

Thinking independently, taking a critical approach to learning and choosing to seek the truth are fundamental rights of anyone with a brain and a heart.

The answers are not outside us but within us.

We were born to live on this planet, but our bodies do not belong to corporations, soulless medical systems or sinister governments.

Take your destiny into your own loving hands. Life is a gift. Live.
