Holiness

Have you ever thought about a synagogue as a place to gather?

To me, it's an extraordinary idea. Most people see it as a piece of real estate steeped in cultural memories: an old and sometimes tragic social custom, a symbol of religious and communal identity, with a fixed schedule for attendance. They walk there reverently in special clothes, carrying various, sometimes rather strange ritual objects, without which the gates of heaven would not open for them. Those gates are entrusted to an eternal caretaker, the faithful guardian who keeps everything ready for use.

Have you ever considered that your true place of gathering belongs to you, not to an institution or a municipality? It is a place to gather, not with other people, reserved seats and the exclusion of women, but with yourself: a place to turn inward.

And what is the house? You yourself are this magnificent real estate.

And who is the caretaker? Your spirit, the keeper of your holiness. It breathes life into the burning ember: your passion for life.

And what are the holy ritual objects? Your thoughts, your emotions, your knowledge of your life, and your memories of the future.

The divine is within us, not in a building set aside for worship.

Your body is the greatest, most magnificent temple ever built, or ever to be built, anywhere on earth. You are its architect and its builder.

To take physical form here, your spirit needs the gathering place that is you. Your spirit is its caretaker, keeping the ember alive.

Your spirit is your passion to live.

And what do you do in your own gathering place? You pray, but this time on your own schedule. Prayer, like sleep, is a gateway to the subconscious, the world of your spirit, your divine caretaker.

And what is the sacred instrument, the master key that opens the gates of heaven to a flesh-and-blood human being? Your sincerity, your being and your knowledge of yourself.

Your sincerity: simplicity of thought, with no preconditions.

Your being: the holiness of this moment.

Your knowing: what you are.

When you pray, turn inward, into the depths of your heart, and close the door behind you. Pray privately, on your own (meaning, don't share it on Facebook or Insta), and your spirit will reward you openly by creating reality for you.

There, within you, you are not a man with a reserved seat in a place of honor or a woman standing in the last row by the entrance. You are not a mother or a father, a doctor or a lawyer, a sinner or a martyred saint.

There, within you, you are one with your spirit, which is a God-being without a face or an ID number. It is an eternal, timeless, all-knowing thought, closer to you than your own breath, keeping the embers of your life alive since the beginning of all time.

In your own gathering place, you are the rabbi. The congregation gathered around you consists of your thoughts, the children of your future. They look to you expectantly: which will you choose to sing the next melody, the prayer that shapes your day?

Which thought will become an experience, a reality, today?

Prayer, like the illusion of sleep, disconnects you from the outside world and turns your brain inward, making it fertile ground for planting your wishes. In prayer, your mind is relaxed and receptive, much as it is just before you fall asleep and sink into deep sleep.

If you're reading this quietly and fully present, you can feel it within you right now.

And what do you feel?

Holiness.

And what is holiness? Intimacy with yourself, beyond time and emotion: you, a flesh-and-blood human being in God-consciousness, awestruck by the magnitude of your own presence.

And the secret of prayer: what is its magic, and where does its power come from?

Prayer is not about all the things you ask for. It is about how you prepare to receive them.

That is the magic and the whole secret. Whatever you desire, when you pray in your inner gathering place, know that you have received it and that it is yours.

The law of the unified field is the only source of your power. You know that your prayers have already been fulfilled, that it has already happened. This ancient technology has been part of you since you first came into being, and it is deeply rooted in the most advanced science.

So what does this science say, without turning this into a final exam?

That the field is unified, that there is no separation between you, the observer, and the reality of your life, the experience. And this is so woven into your destiny that you wear the body of your experience as a participant in the reality you conceived.

You create the dreamscape in which you also play a part. You are the house where this law operates, where the full assembly passes it unanimously every day of your life, in your frontal lobe, your forehead. Yet you know nothing about it. No one thought to share this with you at schools for the masses or colleges that turn out copies of the same person.

And why am I even bringing science into matters of holiness now?

The holiness of science as your truth is deeply rooted, because science comes only from knowing. Your truth is your knowing.

And what you know, you will also live.

Offer this prayer with reverence. It was written here for you with love.
