Choosing to Know

To be in the light, that is, to choose to know, we must be ready to overcome the weakness of the personality. To turn on the light in the room and see clearly, we must grow beyond the fear of change, live it as a new truth, and in doing so receive a higher wisdom.
What keeps us from this is the way we confine and limit our own consciousness out of fear of change and a devotion to consensus. Our social allegiance to the status quo keeps us locked in the past.
The status quo is death to the spirit of change, handcuffs on inspiration.
And this truth isn't told to everyone, because not everyone is ready to hear it. Did you know that you have to earn the right to take in knowledge?
Having a book in your hand or on a shelf doesn't mean you are worthy of receiving that knowledge. No one is keeping knowledge from you, but you have to earn the right to drink from it, and there are preconditions for that right.
If you can remember the following statement and simply apply it in your life, then no matter where you are in your evolution, you will take a giant leap forward: you create your reality according to how your consciousness perceives it.
Your truth, therefore, is only relative to how you understand the seed of truth. And so you magnetically attract whatever reflects your truth, the fruit of your consciousness. And no, this isn't your philosophical truth, which says nothing and does nothing, because it has no real validity. I mean only the truth you are able to live. That truth, and only that, is what you draw to yourself as the experience of reality, or what you would call your life. This holds at every level, from here to the seventh heaven, and it is so all the way to interdimensional understanding. What you are in consciousness, you will create in your reality. It's as simple as it sounds.
A unified mind, one that does not see itself as separate from its expressions in the world around it, lives its truth fully, without judgment.
Tribal genetics, the child of social consciousness and the mother of judgment, holds back our evolution.
We came here to make a new covenant with ourselves, to encounter knowledge that will push us straight through the thick wall of the neighborhood we grew up in, out beyond the neighborhood of our past consciousness. This covenant between us and advanced knowledge will create a critical, meaningful confrontation with the most basic subconscious thought patterns that have been planted in all of us over the ages.
To pass through this tunnel, we must listen with courage, as divine beings and not as frightened flesh and blood, to knowledge, some of which even threatens our entire perception of life.
Those of us who are not yet ready for this will have to clear a fairly high hurdle, one that has defined, all their lives, the safe, comfortable, yet numbing and stifling box they have lived in until now. In that box we are busy surviving and reacting, not creating something from nothing and exploring the hidden.
We came here with a very clear mandate: to discover the unknown.
This is the engine of creation that turns on the light in every dark place hiding knowledge and opportunity. We came to bring every enigma and conflict into the light for unemotional contemplation, in order to learn and map territories unknown before us.
We are eternal spirits sustained by curiosity, not conformity.
