Clinical Death and an Out-of-Body Experience

“One thing I understood there: the divine is probably something much vaster than the way people perceive it.”

“When you step out of your ego, out of yourself and your own needs, and give someone else something they need, it turns you, for a moment, into a kind of angel.”

“Every morning I get up and say thank you, because every day that I'm here is a gift I received from heaven, and I think the mission that matters is to bring more happiness into the world and put an end to despair.”

These are the words of Moshe Puzailov, a senior Shin Bet official and head of its investigations department, who went through clinical death and an out-of-body near-death experience (NDE). This is his testimony about the experience that changed his life forever.

People who had an NDE on the operating table came back thanks to science and modern medical technology, and they are still alive today through what we call a miracle.

Many people who have experienced this don't want to return to their body, because at that level of consciousness they feel a degree of freedom beyond what human consciousness can grasp. When they are in their body of light, they no longer have any conscious attachment to their body. They are so far from the body that they don't want to come back here; they are forced to.

And what is glorious about all of them is that they came back to tell of our divinity and our true greatness. And when they did, their lives changed beyond recognition. They understand that unconditional giving is the greatest religion of all; they understand compassion in a way they never knew as human beings.

They had a glimpse of the other side and were able to remember beyond the time and space of this world. That experience is now fully wired into their brains. They no longer care about money and possessions, and they devote all their time to helping others.

When people live to tell about their NDE, they gain wonderful insight into the next world, and even more, they gain great insight into their own nature, into what they truly are. And when they come back, having survived it, they are changed forever. What was so important before will never return.

And who do they become after that? A legend.

They become wise far beyond their earthly years and know things they would never have known without almost dying, and yet here they are, alive again. This is the divine grace within us, a second chance to live paradise on earth.
